This work offers an ethical-philosophical, psychological, and educational reflection on inadequate nutrition in times of economic crisis and scarcity, analyzing its impacts on learning. Based on the understanding that food is a fundamental condition of human dignity, the book shows that hunger, food insecurity, and malnutrition affect not only the body but also the mind, emotions, motivation, self-esteem, school behavior, and actual learning potential. The book argues that there can be no full learning where basic living conditions are lacking. To provide food with dignity is also to protect childhood, care for mental health, promote educational justice, and affirm the value of the human person. In times of crisis, therefore, reflecting on inadequate nutrition means reflecting on our collective responsibility toward life, school, and the future.
