Innocent: The Anthony Sanchez Report and Trial Exhibits

In 1996, University of Oklahoma student Juli Busken was abducted and murdered-an unspeakable crime that shook an entire community. Years later, Anthony Sanchez was convicted and sentenced to death. The case was presented as a triumph of forensic certainty. But what if the record tells a different story?Drawing on investigative work, trial exhibits, and overlooked evidence, investigator David Ballard and spiritual advisor Jeff Hood revisit the case that sent Sanchez to Oklahoma's death row. Their report raises urgent questions about the investigation, the use of forensic evidence, and the reliability of a conviction that ultimately led to execution.Innocent does not claim to replace the courts. Instead, it invites readers to examine the evidence themselves-and to consider what justice requires when a human life hangs in the balance.
