Although the operation of the Flexible Educational Model Acceleration of Learning has an educational background, it cannot be understood outside the institutional universe. The context, the school organization, the institutional management that orders the school are also crucial aspects in its operation. Santos Guerra (2000, p. 88) argues that "the pedagogue is interested in the educational dimension of school organization, but this dimension cannot be reached without taking into account the understanding of the organizational phenomenon". In this sense, the characteristics of institutional management in the framework of the Flexible Educational Model Acceleration of Learning will be observed as a unit of analysis, in order to identify strengths and weaknesses in its implementation and propose improvement actions aimed at the different actors.
