Intelligent waste management through the Internet of Things in DRC

Bertin Mazunze is an IT researcher and teacher at the Institut Supérieur de Commerce in Lubumbashi. Specializing in Business Intelligence, he is interested in digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). He has been involved in a number of innovative projects, notably in the fields of facial recognition, smart homes and digital management systems.Following the publication of his first best-selling book Moi aussi je peux programmer en Python : de Débutant à Maître, in which he facilitated the learning of programming for many readers, he now devotes his time to projects that combine technology and societal issues.In this new book, Bertin Mazunze explores the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) for intelligent urban waste management in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Through this innovative approach, he proposes practical, connected solutions to improve the efficiency of waste management, while responding to current environmental and urban challenges.
