Intimate Partner Violence and Justice in Jalisco: Challenges, Prevention and Human Rights analyzes intimate partner violence as an expression of inequality, discrimination and violation of human rights. It examines the forms of violence that mainly affect women, as well as the social, cultural and institutional factors that favor its persistence in Jalisco.From a gender and human rights approach, it studies its causes, consequences and mechanisms of prevention, attention and sanction. It also evaluates the public policies implemented in Jalisco between 2010 and 2024, identifying progress, limitations and areas for improvement.The work stresses the importance of education, early prevention, the culture of reporting and access to justice as key elements. It also highlights the need to strengthen comprehensive public policies that guarantee protection, psychological care, legal advice and reparation for victims, contributing to a more egalitarian and safe society.
