Investigation of Ni Co Ferrites for energy harvesting applications: Synthesis and Structural, Spectroscopic, Dielectric Magnetic Properties Spinel

Ferrite materials based on Ni and Co are very important in research area due to their specific properties like better coercivity, magnetic anisotropy, saturation magnetization and remanent magnetization behavior. Also Ni-Co ferrites are showing good chemical stability, thermal properties and high electrical resistivity. Because of these diverse properties, Ni-Co ferrites are used in many fields. The cation (Fe, Co, Ni ions) distribution in Ni-Co ferrites plays an important role in deciding physical, structural, spectral, dielectric as well as magnetic properties. The net magnetic moment of spinel ferrites is dependent on ions magnetic moment at A and B sites. Hence the magnetic behavior and magnetostriction behavior of Ni-Co ferrites mainly depend on the concentration of iron, cobalt and nickel ions.
