The book presents practical works on the study of the main characteristics of carriers and catalysts used for dearomatization of petroleum products.The book is devoted to a number of scientific and technical issues related to the development of dearomatization catalysts for improving the quality and economic efficiency of petroleum products using local mineral raw materials.The literature review of the work provides a detailed overview of the structure of dearomatization catalysts used in the hydrotreating of petroleum products and their wide application in developed countries. In addition, catalysts widely used in industry, carriers used in their preparation, promoters, the chemical composition of tracers, the porous structure, the presence of comparative and active surfaces, and the effect on the rate and mechanism of dearomatization reactions are shown.The main part of the work is devoted to chapter III, devoted to the synthesis of catalysts and carriers, their acid-base properties, and physicochemical properties.
