Wilder's best friend is a sarcastic French bulldog named Bocephus. Bo also happens to be a dragon. When strange magic begins spreading around an abandoned fort in Portland Harbor, Wilder gets pulled into a hidden world of ancient Protectors, forgotten history, impossible creatures, and secrets buried beneath the coast of Maine for centuries.
