Just as it does every year, the Algerian middle class is gripped by a boundless sense of fear regarding the future of its children; this book summarizes politics in Algeria (2009-2011). The book's style is unique. The author uses a modern, humorous approach to convey information and traces his country's political history through the daily lives of its people. On July 2 and 3, 2009, the author was visiting the small village of Saint Sheikh Al Haddad in the Bejaia region. At the Sheikh's mausoleum, he met a young intellectual. During his stay, the author and this young man engaged in a lengthy discussion about politics under the Bouteflika regime. Body and soul detached! Body here, soul elsewhere. Lost in political uncertainty and improvisation, this young man is trying to choose between staying in an uncertain "here" or escaping to an unlikely "elsewhere"! The young intellectual suggested to the author that he publish this discussion, which reflects the reality of Algeria. The young man's words touched the author's heart. That is how the author took the matter seriously and decided to write this book.
