Part One: It All Belongs to GodIt All Belongs to God begins with one of the most foundational truths in Scripture: God is not merely involved with creation, He owns it. Throughout this first book, we explore twenty remarkable things that belong to Him, beginning with the earth and heavens and moving through the stars, sun, moon, planets, seas, mountains, rivers, weather, wind, and fire. Then the focus becomes deeply personal as we discover that every breath, every life, every soul, the human heart, our bodies, our strength, wisdom, time, and even the future belong to God. Scripture declares, "The earth is the LORD'S, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein" (Ps. 24:1). From the universe above us to the breath within us, everything bears the signature of its Creator. Why does this matter? Because what we believe about ownership determines how we live. If my body belongs only to me, I become the final authority over it. If my time belongs only to me, I can spend it however I please. If my abilities are mine alone, I can take the glory for them. If my future belongs to me, then I must somehow control tomorrow. But when Scripture reveals that these things belong to God, our entire perspective changes. Ownership becomes stewardship, entitlement becomes gratitude, pride becomes humility, worry becomes trust, and selfishness gives way to surrender. We begin asking a different question. Instead of saying, "What do I want to do with what is mine?" we begin asking, "Lord, what do You want me to do with what belongs to You?"These twenty truths ultimately lead us to one unavoidable conclusion: if it belongs to God, it should be used for God.The heavens should direct our worship toward Him. Our breath should praise Him. Our bodies should honor Him. Our strength should serve Him. Our wisdom should follow Him. Our time should be invested for Him, and our future should be confidently placed into His hands. Understanding God's ownership does not take something away from us. It frees us from carrying the burden of pretending that everything depends upon us. The Owner remains sovereign, and we have been given the privilege of faithfully managing what He places in our hands. When we finally understand who owns it all, we begin to understand how we should live at all.
