It's Okay To Talk

Allusinlove speelt al zes jaar samen en keerde verleden jaar terug na een zelfgekozen pauze met het onweerstaanbare All Good People, een EP en vier gratis toegankelijke shows in de legendarische Brudenell Social Club in thuishaven Leeds. Als pure live-band met een geduchte repuattie voelde het viertal zich verplicht de rauwe energie van die Brudenell shows en het eerder dit jaar verschenen live-album Live At Leeds te vangen op dit debuut. Samen met producer Catherine Marks (UK Producer Of The Year in 2018 en bekend van haar werk met St Vincent, Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey) is allusinlove daar uitstekend in geslaagd. Of zoals de band het zelf stelt: ‘We’re incredibly proud to present our first long playing record. This album is a musical expression of all our love, positivity and unity - an insight into our perspective of the world around us and what it offers or demands from us. In a society that is so divided we want to offer some release, understanding and unity in the form of just fucking great music. It really is okay to be upset, anxious, hopeless, excited, happy and it’s even more okay to talk about it.’
