Ivorian youth are strongly attracted to the civil service, perceived as a sure path to financial stability, social respect and success. This perception is largely influenced by the family, school and social environment, all of which value government jobs. However, this choice is often based more on collective expectations than personal aspirations, which can lead to frustration, demotivation and competition saturation. Faced with this reality, it becomes essential to encourage young people to explore other opportunities, particularly in the private sector and entrepreneurship, in order to foster individual fulfillment and a more balanced development of society.
