Qurratulain Hyder was an Urdu novelist and short story writer, an academic, and a journalist and was the daughter of writer and pioneers of Urdu short story writing Sajjad Haidar Yildarim. She is of the most outstanding and influential literary names in Urdu literature. While her book 'Jalaa-Vatan' is a somewhat long story, it is also an important milestone in her creative journey.
