The War of 1857 is called the first war of independence in the subcontinent. It is true that this war was not successful in expelling British from the Indian soil, but this failure could not crush the people's spirit of freedom. The spirit against foreign rule continued to grow day by day and continuous efforts to achieve independence continued in different directions, the fruit of which was finally achieved in the form of complete independence. On the 150th anniversary of the War of Independence, a seminar was organized at Iqbal Academy, Hyderabad (Telangana).
