JOHN SUNG: the APOSTLE OF REVIVAL and MIRACLES: Scientist Who Forsook World to Preach Christ with Signs Wonders

John Sung possessed everything the world said should make a man successful. He was a brilliant Chinese scholar who earned a doctorate in chemistry in America and stood on the threshold of honor, wealth, and academic distinction. Yet after a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ, he turned his back on worldly ambition, cast aside the symbols of his achievements, and returned to Asia with one consuming purpose-to preach the Gospel in the power of the Holy Ghost. With uncompromising messages of repentance, holiness, the blood of Jesus, and the new birth, Sung shook churches from spiritual sleep and called multitudes to surrender completely to Christ. In JOHN SUNG: THE APOSTLE OF REVIVAL AND MIRACLES, Dr. Michael H. Yeager presents the astonishing story of a man who burned for God until his frail body could endure no more. Across China and Southeast Asia, vast crowds gathered as sinners repented, broken lives were restored, addicts were delivered, churches were revived, and thousands reported healing through prayer. Sung's ministry was brief, but its impact was explosive. This is the unforgettable account of a scientist who forsook the world, an evangelist who preached through suffering, and a yielded vessel through whom God awakened a continent with revival, miracles, and signs and wonders.
