Josh Heupel, (born March 22, 1978), is the current co-offensive coordinator at the University of Oklahoma. He was the quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners football team in 1999-2000, and led Oklahoma to the 2000 national championship. Heupel was raised, and played high school football, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He is married. His sister, Andrea Heupel, is married to Democratic U.S. politician Dan Boren. Heupel began his collegiate playing career at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and spent one season at Snow College, a junior college located in Ephraim, Utah, before transferring to Oklahoma.
