Journey Into Chaos

The future. Society lives in locally dispersed communities on land, sea and air. Communities consist of 'families', some typical, some not so typical, but all supported by a wide range of bots and advanced AIs. We follow the fortunes of a very non-standard family whose uniqueness starts to work against them, forcing them to journey out of their community and into the wider world. This family even expands along the way, acquiring a new member - an advanced war bot. The delicate stability of the world starts to fracture and situations become more and more chaotic; civil war seems inevitable...This is the first of a trilogy which follows on from a quartet of previous books which led up to the colonisation of Mars.
