Four Harvard students embark upon a ninety-day Medical Studies Abroad Program. Expected at one village to work with the local health promoter, their boat is stuck in a sandbar, the crew abandons them, and they are later kidnapped by a hostile tribe. Just before they are executed, the village chief returns from a fishing trip and stops the execution.An unknown disease has ravaged the village, claiming the life of the chief's wife, and now, his only daughter hangs on by a thread. Through divine intervention, the students are given a chance to try and save the daughter's life. Can they find a cure before she dies too?
