Junie's Sleepy Invention

Junie is a tiny patchwork inventor with a big idea: build the most spectacular Dreamlight Carousel the toys have ever seen. The Moonrise Show is almost here, and Junie is certain that one more twist, one more turn, and one more tiny thing will make her creation shine. But skipped breaks lead to upside-down stars, sleepy colors, and projections that tumble every which way. Even Purl, Junie's gentle knitted-lamb friend, can see that both inventor and invention are losing their glow. When the carousel finally stops, Junie must discover a new way to create-one that makes room for both bright work and gentle rest. Filled with luminous, textile-inspired storybook art, playful clockwork surprises, and rhythmic read-aloud language, *Junie's Sleepy Invention* is a warm picture book about creativity, self-awareness, persistence, and listening to your body. A reassuring choice for bedtime, classroom conversations, and families helping children build healthy habits around effort, rest, and trying again.
