Just Friends: 3

Fading action star Monyakul "Monk" Tham-Boon takes a massive professional risk by joining the BL survival show Seeking a Ship, hoping to shed his toxic alpha image and quietly explore his long-suppressed sexuality. Or the move could be career suicide. Panit Chaidi has wanted Monk since before either of them had a stage name. His friends help him evolve from a quiet university student into rebel "Love" Chaidi-a little darker, a little sexier, a lot more dominant. In short, more like his true self. He has one shot to make a manufactured reality-show "ship" real, without confessing how long he's actually been waiting for this. Monk is intrigued by Love's persona, but he's enthralled by the thoughtful sweetness that peeks through the dominance. Love has to overcome his insecurities and be himself, and Monk must face some realities about who he is and what he wants. Every scene they shoot blurs the lines a little further. One of them is going to break first - and neither of them wants it to be for the cameras. Just Friends is a warm, explicit Thai BL M/M romance for readers who love their forced proximity with a camera crew watching and their slow burn with real teeth. If you like the earnest heart of The Charm Offensive and the industry stakes of Idol Minds, you'll love this story of manufactured ships, hidden dominance, and a confession that could cost a career.
