Just Kill Me

Freya's life was perfect. Perfect husband, perfect kids, perfect home. And then, suddenly, it wasn't. When her youngest son nearly dies right in front of her, something inside her breaks open. He fully recovers, but she is forever changed. As she navigates this new awareness of her own, and her children's, mortality, she begins to question her marriage, as well as her other life choices. She wants a different life, an adventure, but her husband resists her at every turn, telling her she has everything she could ever want in the quiet life they've built. In spite of him, and with the support of his best friend, Rip, she embarks on a new career as an FBI agent, something 40-year-old women just don't do. As she begins her training, she starts to have flashbacks of her 25-year-old self as an agent, and going on missions with a young Rip...but that never happened...did it? When Rip begins to remember, too, they decide to sneak into the FBI database to find out the truth of their past together.
