Kalam Atomism and the Problem of Its Source

How did the universe come into being? Does the universe have a beginning and an end? In this book, these ancient questions are studied within the Islamic science of Kalam, specifically ¿emseddin Günaltay's work. The author contributes to Günaltay's work by questioning the origins of atomism doctrine, and providing a Kalam dictionary and additional appendices.
