This title focuses on the uniforms, insignia, decorations and other militaria of the Soviet agencies of State Security and Internal Forces. Over 300 photographs are accompanied by detailed captions tracing the evolution of official regulations and unofficial practices. They show the uniforms and insignia of the State Security Service, the Frontier Guards, police forces, the Interior Ministry's troops and special forces.
