This edition presents the complete New Testament verse by verse in two languages, side by side: the English of the King James Version (1611) and a new Afrikaans translation made directly from that King James text for this edition. The same passage stands on the same line in both columns, so each tongue illuminates the other. It is made for bilingual families and churches, for learners of English or of Afrikaans, and for every reader who loves to meet a familiar verse in the other language. A glossary at the back explains the most important archaic words of the King James text.
