Four years. High school is only four years, and everyone always says it goes quickly, but no one ever believes it. Guinevere was counting down the days until she crossed that stage for graduation. She had a small group of friends and was a member of the marching band. Her mom, a college professor, expected nothing but the best from Guinevere.Adam was the American dream. He was the captain of the football team. He was dating the cheer captain and was trying to earn a college scholarship based on his skills on the field. However, his skills in the classroom almost had him sitting on the bench. He asked Guinevere, with whom he had a complicated history, to tutor him. She initially said no, but eventually agreed. As the season progresses, Adam has to learn that living up to high school stereotypes might cost him the one person he never knew he wanted.
