Leadership through the Lens of Whiteness and Intersectionality

Chapters evaluate the dominant models, conceptions, and perspectives of leadership as part of advocating alternative models of leadership which acknowledge the multiplicity of permutations of diversity of genders and ethnicities across the world. This volume takes up intersectionality and whiteness as perspectives through which to engage and understand leadership. The chapters draw from research and theory, as well as the authors’ own personal backgrounds and experiences to illustrate the complexity of leadership as a concept and the nuances of the development of leaders’ own individual leadership identities and perspectives.
