"Everybody - let's DECK THE HALLS!"It's Christmas Eve, and Leecie is ready to help. So she decks the halls - all of ONE hallway. Top to bottom. When her sister warns her not to go overboard, Leecie looks around for the boat. When her brother says to stuff the stockings, she stuffs in a shoe. And when the star for the top of the tree goes missing right before Grandma arrives, Leecie heads for her snowy backyard swing to think it through - and comes back with a plan absolutely nobody asked for.(It works. It always works.)Leecie Decks the Halls is a warm, giggly read-aloud for ages 4-7, full of holiday chaos, a very patient black cat named Tibbles, and a little girl who is always confidently, hilariously wrong. Perfect for kids who love Amelia Bedelia, and for grown-ups who want a Christmas Eve story with a big-hearted ending.Includes a glossary of the idioms Leecie learned, talk-about-it questions, and a draw-your-own page.
