Vallad prefers to spend his time with his toes in the sand-the Caribbean specifically. Although he's climbed four fourteen-thousand-foot peaks in the Colorado Rockies, he'd rather take to the shore any day. His hope is to get back to his favorite hobbies, which are playing his acoustic guitar, and getting a round of golf with friends, something that he has not been able to do since a medical procedure left his left side paralyzed.
