Bol Two brothers just off the family farm decide to take a fling in the City of Light where they lose their innocence... An adolescent runaway, rejected by his girlfriend, wants to prove to her what he is capable of. Alas, the fireworks he has planned don't turn out quite right. Also, a crime of passion takes place in a museum; a hired killer must learn to hunt bimbo; a bank robbery turns sour in a summer traffic jam; a talent scout for a model agency thinks she is offering a dream life to a young drifter with an angel face... Each one of these dark stories describes with passion and finesse the final instant when things skid lethally out of control. José-Louis Bocquet sees the world through a kaleidoscope of every shade of black. Jean-Louis Bocquet created a fanzine, has contributed to numerous magazines, written scenarios for several albums and is today editor with Editions Dupuis. He has also published several novels, among which Cutter Killer (Le Masque, 2001) and Les Chênes rouges (Le Masque, 2002).
