Les Trois lanciers du Bengale

Henry Hathaway directs this 1930s war drama starring Gary Cooper and Guy Standing. In British-occupied northern India, Lieutenant Alan McGregor (Cooper) is a member of the retiring Colonel Stone (Standing)'s 41st Bengal Lancers. McGregor quickly forms a rapport with new company member John Forsythe (Franchot Trone) when they are sent on a mission, led by Stone's son Donald (Richard Cromwell), to prevent an Indian uprising. The cast also includes Colin Tapley, Kathleen Burke and Akim Tamiroff.
