Life on Earth

What does it mean to be fully alive? In Life on Earth, Maria L. Ellis invites readers on a poetic journey through the questions that shape every human life: Why are we here? How do we love deeply? How do we find meaning in ordinary moments? How do we navigate uncertainty, loss, joy, purpose, and wonder?Written over many years of observation, reflection, and lived experience, these poems explore the beauty of being human. Through themes of nature, spirituality, relationships, personal growth, entrepreneurship, gratitude, and self-discovery, Maria offers readers a collection of reflections that illuminate both the extraordinary and the everyday.More than a poetry book, Life on Earth is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.Whether read one poem at a time or experienced as a complete journey, these pages remind us that life itself is the greatest teacher-and that wisdom often arrives disguised as ordinary moments. For readers who enjoy inspirational poetry, spiritual reflection, personal growth, and contemplative living, Life on Earth offers a companion for the journey.
