Lights Out, On: Bright Ideas for Saving Energy

What happens when Willowbrook Valley suddenly goes dark-and the solution is brighter than anyone expected? When the lights flicker during a lively evening gathering, Mira, Omar, Pip, and Big Bin set out to discover what is happening. Their search takes them through cozy homes, busy farm paths, a village workshop, a school garden, and the beautiful countryside around Willowbrook Valley. Along the way, they notice all the ways energy is used, wasted, shared, and saved. With help from thoughtful neighbors and a few wonderfully surprising ideas, the friends learn that saving energy is not about making life dull or turning everything off forever. It is about choosing wisely, using only what is needed, welcoming natural light, caring for shared spaces, and working together to make everyday habits brighter.
