They're smart, hardworking, and hungry to prove themselves. They're also just kids with a new toy, imagining the Fleet as a playground of fast jets and exotic ports.Slammer knows better.Death lurks behind every misstep. If his students make it past him, they'll join him in the skies over the South China Sea, where enemy fighters prowl like sharks and mistakes are no longer measured in grades, but in blood.Book 1 of the Slammer Richardson series.
