LitRPG God Tier: The Ascension Debt: A Tier System Military Progression Fantasy — Science Fiction RPG, Siege Warfare, Rank & GameLit Survival (The Debt Book 1

The night roster wanted a signature at the bottom of it, and by the time the lamp was lit there was nobody in the orderly room but Oren Vale. He signed it. He signs everything. Ninety men is the establishment of that station and there have not been ninety in it since the Sixth month. Sixty-three fit: four in the sick room, nine in the ground, and fourteen sent down to Awl Ridge. The Ascendant lends rank. It never lies, it never says everything, and it holds to its terms exactly. The first degree runs a term of twelve months from acceptance, and its whole effect is set out in one paragraph with nothing left out of it. The security is not on the wall. It is behind the wall, in Haldrey, where the crop of a district goes to the Ascendant and not to the parish. That is in paragraph four. He does not read paragraph four to the end. Colonel Hale needs the upgrade and is not paying for it. Beck taught him the whole trade of that station and is the man he finally tells things to, months late. And in Haldrey a sheet comes round for signature, and the name at the top of it is his mother's. A military progression fantasy with a god tier system that lends instead of giving: every degree priced in writing, every cost with a name attached, and not one free rank. Book 1 of The Ascension Debt. One continuous account across five books, read in order.
