Bol "If I had wings..."Every child has wished they were something more. Faster. Braver. More like everybody else.Little Green Frog wishes for wings. Wings to fly past the treetops. Wings to sing with the birds. Wings to reach the stars, past the moon, past Saturn and Mars. But all night long, the pond keeps showing him something. His leaps carry him higher than he knew. His courage climbs a hill he was sure he could not climb. His own small song fills the dark. And when a snail is caught out in the rain, he lifts a leaf to shelter it, no wings required.By morning, Little Green Frog finally understands what he has been carrying the whole time.A gentle rhyming bedtime story for ages 3 to 8, illustrated by Kiran Akram, with a refrain little ones will start saying along with you before you reach the end. It closes with children fast asleep, so it settles a child down rather than winding them up.The first book in the Ahmi Stories collection. Ahmi means "I Am."Live knowing you are enough.
