Lock Them In Prison!

Joseph D. Paye Jr. shares a powerful autobiographical account of his struggle to achieve the American Dream after immigrating to the United States from Liberia. Hoping to provide a permanent home for his family, Joseph invested his savings into renovating a house he was repeatedly promised he would own. What began as a hopeful home purchase soon turned into a devastating ordeal involving alleged deception, financial exploitation, intimidation, eviction, and lengthy legal battles involving individuals in positions of authority. As the price of the property continued to change and the agreements shifted, Joseph found himself trapped in a system he believed was working against him.Through personal testimony, legal documents, and emotional reflection, the book explores themes of trust, corruption, injustice, faith, perseverance, and the painful collapse of a dream that once represented hope for his family's future.
