Lord's Cricket Ground in 50 Memorials

Tells the story of Lord’s Cricket Ground, the headquarters of the MCC and the home of cricket, through 50 memorials, including stands, the pavilion, monuments, statues, gates, plaques and other commemorative items. Lord’s Cricket Ground was established by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at its current site in 1814, and has since become known as the ‘Home of Cricket’. Over the years, Lord’s has evolved into a magnificent cricket ground, blending historic buildings, such as the Victorian Pavilion, with modern, state-of-the-art structures. Within its walls, Lord’s contains many memorials honouring cricket’s history and the MCC members and cricketers associated with this famous old ground.
