Los crímenes de Åre. Oculto en las sombras

Evil lurks in the shadows. The winter calm of the idyllic Swedish village of Åre is shattered when Johan Andersson, a former Olympic skier much loved in the area, is found bound and beaten to death in the middle of the forest. The crime stuns the community and forces Inspector Hanna Ahlander and her partner, Daniel Lindskog, to ask the same question as everyone else: who would want to kill someone like Johan? As they investigate the murder, another story unfolds in the shadows -- that of Rebecka Ekvall, the wife of a pastor who lives in isolation, trapped in an abusive marriage and cut off from the community to which she has always belonged. Suddenly, Rebecka disappears, taking with her a secret that could put her in danger. As the investigation progresses, new lies and old tensions surface in the wake of Johan's dark death and Rebecka's disappearance. What might someone do when they fear the truth coming to light? The novel on which the hit Netflix series The Åre Murders is based.
