Lu Xun's Self-Annotated Collection: Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk/鲁迅自评版作品集：朝!

Lu Xun's Self-Annotated Collection: Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk gathers ten reminiscences written in 1926, including Ah Chang and the Classic of Mountains and Seas, Pictures of the Twenty-Four Acts of Filial Piety, From the Hundred-Plant Garden to the Three-Flavor Study, Mr. Fujino, and The Five-Fierce Gods Fair. In these essays, Lu Xun turns his gaze away from the turmoil of the present and looks back at the people and places that shaped him - his childhood in the countryside, his education in traditional schools, his studies abroad in Japan, and the teachers, friends, and relatives who left their mark on him. Together, they form a portrait of a writer in the making, revealing the early experiences and influences that would later define his character and his work. The prose is lyrical yet plain, blending emotion, storytelling, and reflection with a grace that is uniquely Lu Xun's. This edition pairs each essay with the author's own annotations and self-reflections, offering readers a full and intimate view of his creative process.¿¿¿¿¿¿·¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿1926¿¿¿¿10¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿Lu Xun, born Zhou Shuren in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, is the founding father of modern Chinese literature and has been hailed as the "multifaceted cultural giant of the 20th century."Liu Zengren is the Director of the Lu Xun Research Center at Qingdao University (the first of its kind in China), Vice President of the Modern and Contemporary Branch of the Chinese Academic Association of Historical Literature, and Editor-in-Chief of the Yearbook of Lu Xun Studies.
