Lu Xun's Self-Annotated Collection: Hot Wind/鲁迅自评版作品集：热风

Lu Xun's Self-Annotated Collection: Hot Wind gathers Lu Xun's essays from 1918 to 1924, including the iconic Random Reflections Nos. 39, 56 ("Here It Comes"), 57 ("The Massacre of the Present"), and 59 ("Martial Spirit"). Written in the fiery years of the May Fourth Movement, these essays seethe with critical energy - an unflinching indictment of the old order and a passionate call for change. What sets this edition apart is the inclusion of Lu Xun's own annotations and self-reflections. Here, the writer speaks about his own work, revealing his intellect, his character, his aesthetics, and his worldview. This is a rare self-portrait that deepens our understanding of Lu Xun's inner life and creative drive - inviting us to know the man behind the words and to see his work through his own eyes.¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿1918¿¿1924¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿Lu Xun, born Zhou Shuren in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, is the founding father of modern Chinese literature and has been hailed as the "multifaceted cultural giant of the 20th century."Liu Zengren is the Director of the Lu Xun Research Center at Qingdao University (the first of its kind in China), Vice President of the Modern and Contemporary Branch of the Chinese Academic Association of Historical Literature, and Editor-in-Chief of the Yearbook of Lu Xun Studies.
