Lumi's Light: A Story About Courage and Trusting God

When a powerful storm rolls over the little village of Glowbrook, Lumi's warm golden light begins to flicker. Thunder crashes, lightning flashes, and for the first time that night, the little lantern feels very afraid.Across the village, Lumi's best friend Pip is frightened too. Through their walkie-talkies, the two friends discover that neither of them has to face the storm alone. Then Lumi remembers something important from God's Word: "When I am afraid, I put my trust in You." - Psalm 56:3Together, Lumi and Pip pray and ask God to help them trust Him through the storm. Little by little, the thunder rolls farther away, the rain begins to soften, and Lumi's light becomes warm and steady again.By morning, the storm has passed, but Lumi and Pip have learned something they will carry with them long after the clouds are gone: being brave does not mean never feeling afraid.
