Patented automatic professional incubator with low energy consumption, the incubator is ideal to incubate hen, pheasant, guinea fowl, quail, grey partridge, partridge, duck, mallard, goose, turkey, peacock, coturnix, pigeon, Virginia quail, exotic birds and birds of prey eggs. Capacity: up to 16 medium and large-sized eggs (including goose eggs) or up to 64 small-sized eggs (like quail) thanks to the patented universal egg tray system. EGG TURNING SYSTEM: Incubator automatically turns the incubated eggs throughout the incubation period. The microprocessor inside is programmed to regularly change the inclination degree of the eggs, always varying it differently, exactly as it happens inside a nest. INCUBATOR STRUCTURE IN HEAT-RESISTANT ABS: in order to reduce heat loss during both the incubation and hatching process, LUMIA 16 is made of ABS thermal insulation material, that makes the machine solid and robust. Moreover, an antibacterial additive is added to the material to prevent the harmful growth of bacteria on the machine surfaces during its functioning, preventing the embryo from getting a bacterial infection, which is one of the main causes of death when hatching chicks. WATER FILLING UP FROM OUTSIDE, WITH “DUST STOP” PLUGS: It is filled up through two fillers on the outside of the incubator, which cuts down humidity loss that would otherwise be wasted by opening the machine (models with an internal basin have to be opened). The outside fillers are closed with “Dust Stop” plugs, made of ABS polymer with BIOMASTER antibacterial additive, to prevent the water from being contaminated by germs and dust, keeping the area around the egg cleaner and more hygienic. INSULATED VENTILATION: Internal ventilation is given by an axial fan that sucks air from the centre and carries it onto the side walls. Moreover, this air movement, together with a refined aerodynamic design, besides guaranteeing a better temperature uniformity and humidity inside the incubator, generates a warm air barrier that ensures effective heat insulation.
