This book provides an excellent background for learning applied managerial economics. Mr. Baye uses interesting real-world examples, which is difficult when writing about the entirely hypothetical world of micro-economics. The section on Game Theory is especially useful in explaining real world market paricipant behavior in pricing decisions. Overall, the book is highly recommend for both students of economics, as well as those non-students seeking a weekend of light reading in the topic of economics.
