Many Beliefs, One Big World

Jesseiah comes home from a friend's house with his shoes half untied-and his mind full of questions.Who is God? Who is Jesus? Why does his friend pray? And why doesn't his own family go to church?Grandma doesn't offer one simple answer. Instead, she helps Jesseiah understand that families around the world have different religions, traditions, and ways of thinking about life's biggest questions. Some people believe in God, some believe differently, and some do not follow a religion at all.As Jesseiah connects these new ideas with familiar stories about Thor, Odin, and Zeus, he begins to understand that it is okay not to have everything figured out. He can remain curious, respect people who believe differently, and keep asking questions as he grows.Inspired by Jesseiah's real questions, Many Beliefs, One Big World is a warm, thoughtful story for families who want to talk with children about God, religion, spirituality, different beliefs, and the importance of kindness.
