Marie Juban and the Tickfaw Coven

Marie Juban was born into the ancient Tickfaw Coven, but no one, not even the High Priestess, could have foreseen the extraordinary gifts awakening within the quiet thirteen-year-old girl. As Marie's powers emerge, she discovers an uncanny bond with nature itself. Wild animals answer her call. Visions reveal dangers before they strike. A simple prayer can stir forces beyond the understanding of even the oldest witches. Guided by her mother, Melani, and the wise High Priestess Wilma Sutton, Marie begins a journey into centuries-old secrets preserved since the days of Mama Juban. Set among the haunting bayous and moss-draped cypress swamps of Louisiana, Marie Juban and the Tickfaw Coven is a tale of family, faith, ancient magic, and the courage of a young girl destined to become far more than anyone imagined.
