Marigold and the Wings She Forgot: Book One of series

Not too loud. Not too much. Just enough magic to fill up the world.Marigold has been trying to take up less space, telling herself she is "too loud" and "too old for make-believe." But when she revisits a quiet, forgotten corner of the Websters' garden, a single bright marigold and the spirit of her friend Marjorie remind her of a truth she almost forgot: everybody has a pair of wings, tucked away somewhere. As Marigold lets go of her fears and embraces her true, vibrant self, brilliant golden feathers sprout from her shoulders, lighting up the dark, rainy street on Marigold Lane. Spreading her wings and singing at the top of her lungs, she shows her young friend Sam, and the world, that being big, warm, and impossible to ignore is not something to hide, but a wonder to celebrate.Richly illustrated with glowing artwork and gentle, poetic storytelling, this heartwarming children's book inspires young readers to embrace their inner light, speak up with confidence, and never apologize for being exactly who they are.
