MARKED: A Thriller

She wakes in a shipping container with no name, no memory, and forty-one tattoos she doesn't understand - annotations in a code only she was trained to read. The hospital calls her Jane. The bird on her wrist makes her call herself Wren. And the two words tattooed fresh over her heart - eleven days - are the only thing she's sure of: whatever is coming, she's the one who set it in motion. FBI Agent Marcus Odom is the only person willing to believe her story instead of burying it. Together they trace the marks on her body to a dam outside Portland, a domestic extremist cell that trusts her completely, and a black-budget government program that erases its own operatives when they get too close to the truth. She has eleven days to stop an attack she designed - without knowing if she's the last line of defense, or the woman who built the bomb. MARKED is a breakneck thriller about identity, complicity, and how far an institution will go to protect its own secrets - for readers of The Bourne Identity, Karin Slaughter, and the TV series Blindspot. Book One of The Cradle Files trilogy.
