MATT the MUTT: A Blind Dog's Misadventures 1

Meet Matt, an aging mutt whose world has gone dark, but whose spirit, humor, and desire to be loved remain as strong as ever. After losing his sight and being surrendered to an animal shelter, Matt finds himself facing an uncertain future. Surrounded by other abandoned dogs, he befriends Chico, a spirited Chihuahua who becomes his unlikely companion and, quite literally, his eyes. Just when Matt fears that his age and disability have left him with little hope of finding another home, a family arrives at the shelter looking specifically for a dog with a disability. Matt is given the second chance he desperately needs. What follows is a warm, funny, and sometimes touching collection of misadventures told from Matt's own perspective. From adjusting to blindness and navigating a new home to troublesome cats, neighborhood coyotes, dreaded vet visits, family life, and the everyday challenges of being an old dog, Matt discovers that life can still be full of surprises when you have people willing to love you exactly as you are.
