Me to We: The journey of the personal, the professional and the political From the individual, to the collective, to being part of social justice and feminist movements. When I began working with NGOs straight out of university, I was driven by idealism and a desire to create change. Over the next eighteen years, that idealism was tested by the realities of workplaces, power, politics, and the complexities of social change. What sustained me was a commitment to reflection, a deeper engagement with ideological groundings that resonated with me, and the wisdom of people and collectives who helped me grow. This book traces that journey-from understanding the self, to working within organisations, to becoming part of feminist a nd safe abortion rights movements. Read, reflect, and join the work of building a more just world. Cover artwork by: Asis Percales × Fine Acts (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)
