Bol Economic globalisation has led governments to invest in the establishment of support structures, particularly business incubators. However, given limited financial resources, the question of the effectiveness of such support is of fundamental importance. Whilst the need to evaluate support is widely accepted, relevant indicators of effectiveness have yet to be defined. Drawing on an extensive review of the literature, we hypothesise that four factors influence the success of supported businesses: networking, coaching, infrastructure and learning. This hypothesis is tested on a sample of 120 supported Tunisian businesses. An initial Principal Component Analysis was carried out to identify the explanatory variables of support. A second analysis using AMOS software and based on the structural equation modelling method shows that success is a relevant indicator for assessing the effectiveness of entrepreneurial support.
